Jeff Rosenblum - Experienced Administrator with the FDIC

Serving as the chief human capital officer for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Jeff Rosenblum implemented important changes in the agency’s human resources structure. Jeff Rosenblum oversaw matters of job classification, remote work, and benefits. Earlier he was the FDIC’s assistant general counsel for labor, employment, and administration. In addition, he teaches legal ethics and employment law at George Mason University Law School.

Previously, Mr. Rosenblum was a deputy general counsel for the Securities and Exchange Commission, a role in which he briefed congressional staffers and managed litigation for privacy and government contracts. Mr. Rosenblum came to the SEC from the Department of Justice, where he handled disputes regarding immigration and union relations. He also was an employment and ethics attorney for the Department of Labor, assisting in its ethics program.

After earning a BA in broadcast journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park, Mr. Rosenblum obtained his law degree from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, graduating cum laude. He also served in a summer internship with a Washington, D.C. law firm and an externship with U.S. District Court Judge George Marovich.
